WHAT IS A MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER?

Understanding the Role of a Loan Officer

A Mortgage Loan Officer is a representative from a Direct Private Money Lender or anyone who facilitates a loan, who acts as a liaison between the prospective client (borrower) and the lender organization.

At Stratton Equities, our experienced team of Loan Officers understands the difference between a wide array of mortgage programs, to better match each borrower with a loan option that would be beneficial to the borrower.

The Loan Officer is also responsible for obtaining and verifying all the essential financial documentation for the borrower. A Stratton Equities' Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) will be there every step of the way, assisting the Real Estate Investor through the important loan application process.

Loan Officers are crucial to the loan application process because they can communicate directly with the underwriter (the person that approves/denies a loan), appraiser, title company, mortgage processor, and closing attorney (if needed), and help facilitate the process.

The difference between Stratton Equities' team of Mortgage Loan Officers and other companies' teams, is that we have the knowledge and extensive library of the widest variety of mortgage programs under one roof - to determine what best suits the borrower's needs.

How can a Loan Officer be helpful to an Investor?

At Stratton Equities, our loan officers are there as a direct contact to initiate the process of obtaining a loan for investors.

Instead of having to communicate with many representatives with different jobs, the loan officer is a single point of contact that deals with investors throughout the entire process and makes it stress-free as possible.

As a Stratton Equities' licensed and experienced loan officer, you will truly understand what works best for the borrower and investor for their unique loan scenario.

Most Real Estate Investors prefer to directly work with loan officers so that they can get a personal and tailored mortgage program designed specifically for their desired property investment.

At Stratton Equities, we built our business on the fact that Loan scenarios are not a one-size-fits-all, that's why our Loan Officers are trained and well-versed in all mortgage programs - to best suit each real estate investment based on its needs.

We ensure that all the proper paperwork is filed and completed in a timely fashion for all investors.
